View Full Version : Cooling For my PC

My PC specs are at the bottom.....i have only the stock cpu hsf and two cheap fans for the rest of the PC....what wood be good to cool it? It doesnt get hot now, but i want it to be as cool as possible, also i dont overclock.

well if you dont overclock and the temps are fine then I'd say leave it. If you still feel the need then I'd say go for a better heat sink like slk-800 or an alpha (swifttech) again though if your not haveing problems with the curent setup I'd just leave it alone:)

i too would say that you should pick an alpha or a swiftech. these are some of the giants in aircooling. But if you aint using fans bigger than 80mm go for the thermalright slk800 or 900

unless your temp is high, I suggest you should just keep your system as it is. :) Or you might buy a fat-ass-overkill heatsink (swiftech 462+) with a silent fan if the noise of your current cooler is bugging you. afaik the slk-900 doesn't fit on the a7n8x.. I might be wrong, though.
