Its easy to use a software based thermamator, although...what about the bios temp thingy??? anyways..what do you use to get realistic real world temp readings?.....this way i don't come back and report 10c temps from my ghetto style water setup..by the way my temps are 15c..:p: just kidding. :toast:

Bios, software programs are often reporting wrong temps. Unreliable.

Software and bios readings come from the same chip... ;)

Just stick with your BIOS and software, they may be off but they should always be off in a linear fashion. Just watch the trends. The only way you are going to get perfect temps is to start placing high grade thermistors in your components, and hooking them to a muti-meter. No matter what anyone say's, it is so not worth the hassle for most people. Your temps are probably not that far off.

My bios is about 4C lower than ASUS probe for idle temps (difficult to test load in bios lol). Which one is accurate?

Both are inaccurate... :p:
But when u check the temps through bios your cpu isn't idling like on windows that's why u get higher temps. And remember that both take readings from the same chip... ;)
