because I dont know how much games will support LCD resoultions.
please help me decide and tell me if theres a variety of games that support it (and maybe name a few).

I assume future games like UT 2007 and Crysis support widescreen resoultions?

btw im talking about a 1440X900 lcd.

most recent stuff has native widescreen support or hacks to get it working...i've not come across many i can't get working.

project snowblind is about the only i can remember that i had to scale.

alot of EA sport stuff is hard to hack however ...thats EA for ya

I have one of the 20.1' dell widescreens and love it to death...would never buy anything other than widescreen again.

As stated above most modern titles support widescreen resolutions but ocassionally you'll run into one that does not or requires a litte hacking.

Oblivion running max on widescreen = :woot:

The two I have used extensivley for gaming are the Dell 24' and 21' and both are fantastic. I would highly recommend either of these.

im talking about an 19" ws lcd with 8ms and 1:600 contrast, the brand is NU and its the only thing I can afford (I heard good things about this brand and it gives pretty much good performance for its price).

a friend of mine is buying one so ill see it first before I buy myself one.
