I've been looking ar the gigabyte 3D Aurora case, and am somewhat interested, but i haven't seen one in person or talked to anyone that owns one.
I need a new case for the watercooling set up i am planning.
Is the gigabyte case good?
Should i be looking at something else?
Case needs to support 3+ 120mm fans. I have a tons of em here, and want to use em. Also looking to keep everything else cool too.
any suggestions or comments on the Aurora?

wel I've got 4 120mm fans here in my Antec SuperLanBoy (5 and an extra 80mm untill I changed to a cooler gfx card recently) so im willing to bet you can fit a good few 120mm's in any case you choose.
may I ask whats wrong with your P180?
Also Ive never seen it come up much here, which doesn't bode well for it, any truly good or inovative hardware will be disscussed around here plenty.
maybe you might consider a lan li?

I'll consider almost anything. I just prefer that the case not be one of those weird upside down cases. That does not play well with a heatpipe chipset cooler.
although the P180 is nice, i'm not overly happy with it, i've had enough issues with it that i would not buy it again. I tend to work on my box a lot adding things here and there, and this case can be a PIA and is rather tight as is. I don't see a good water set up fitting well in here where it is already so cramped.
Do you have any pics of the lanboy? i'm interested to see the inside

you could all ways go for an orginial stacker or a Lian li PC-7 and mod it!

I really don't like Aurora. I would go with the Stacker STC-01 or Thermaltake Kandalf/Armor.

I really like the Aurora and I have it.
After nearly a year I still haven't seen any cases I would like any better. I've mounted a Black Ice Pro 2 over the two exhaust fans, wich fits like a glove. I've also bought a side panel with window, wich is optional. The only thing about the case is that it lacks rubber mounting of harddrives. But a lot of new cases miss that as well.
I have the black version. See pic in sig. :)

stacker is a consideration...just sucks that it is so much extra to get the mounts for more fans.

Thats why you get a nice case like the stacker, then watercool it so you don't have to worry about fan mounts. Just rad mounts, lol.

i like the looks of the lian li cases, but they are a little $$ and most of the real nice ones use that upsidedown motherboard mounting system...which as i said will not work well with the heat pipe on my board.

I'd say either of these two cases:

or this one I just ordered:

Although I have a V2000 and really like it, but it's time to try something new.

comes with two rear 120's, one front 120, attached to the Hard drive cage, that can hold four HDD's, also can mount two more 120's as intake fans. The thing is long, and wide. Can have up to 11 opticals.

that's cool how he had all the stuff on the outside of the case. looks pretty sweet, i think that case is still in high contention, i also like the lian li pc-s80.
the stacker has my eye too, i wish i had enough money to use em all. makes me p180 kinda seem boring now.

I have built several gamers for customers using this case . Good quality . Good air flow. east to install water cooling. nice looks.
In the end it comes down to what you like. For myself I prefer the Lian Li V2000 series. Thats me . This isn't about me tho . Its what you want. If you like the the 3D buy it . Its a nice case.

on the plus side it looks like i might be going with a DFI board, so the whole upsidedown Lian Li thing is no longer a problem because they don't have the heatpipes!

i try and stay away from thermaltake products...the last time i had one of their cases the fans were very loud and the case was poorly built.
