Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
32 bits per pixel
64 MB of graphics memory to support a single monitor less than 1,310,720 pixels
128 MB of graphics memory to support a single monitor at resolutions from 1,310,720 to 2,304,000 pixels
256 MB of graphics memory to support a single monitor at resolutions higher than 2,304,000 pixels
Meets graphics memory bandwidth requirements, as assessed by Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor running on Windows XP

128MB for 1280x1024 - 1920x1200

thanks for the clarificaion cooper.. I was too lazy to do the math on that one.

IIRC X800 based cards are 24bit precision and not 32.

stupid question but will this mean wel have to run the card at a higher 2d mode or even always at 3d mode?

56.25mhz and 28.125mhz for DDR RAM, something very doable even by very old card. The x1900xtx has 49.6MB/s...

I think they're refering to colour depth, and not the precision of the shaders
