TG: One thing that enthusiast overclocker's enjoy is having the ability to tweak -all- available settings in the BIOS relating to their CPU and memory. While EPP consolidates all of these options into a single one, do you believe that any enthusiast overclocker's will ever have a need for EPP?
JB: I don’t believe experienced overclocker's will ever have a need for EPP... but I think they will certainly have a use for it. It is capable of providing a good “base camp” for ascending the difficult summit of an aggressive overclock. It also provides a guideline about how we were able to achieve aggressive performance.
This is a plug for my own site, but I believe this will be of interest to a lot of people here.

Kris,
Thanks for your comments. I will be working on implementing a print feature tonight when I get some time. I have never even thought of adding one before.. talk about clueless ;)

Kris,
Thanks for your comments. I will be working on implementing a print feature tonight when I get some time. I have never even thought of adding one before.. talk about clueless ;)Excellent! It's a bit of a hassle with all the lack of print-functions on most sites these days. Quite time-consuming it is to keep copying all pages/parts of articles into word, remove non-essentials (ads mostly, as well as some non-essential yet ink-consuming pictures (actually I always use laser printers, but I don't know what their equivalent is so I said ink)) and then manually format almost everything (can be quite a lot of small details you gotta remove or change, in addition to chosing appropriate fonts and settings for different types of text, etc). All-in-all print functions are desperately needed and just as appreciated. Will be looking forward to reading the interview on this very exciting new technology. :toast:

Wow, that is a lot of work. Do you read nothing online, or print it all off?
I added the function to view a printer friendly version, but it is not perfect. There's still the bottom ad, and page break text. I can't fix this until I rework the CMS, which will take a little while. We didn't originally plan for this functionality, or else we would have built the CMS differently.
Hope it is ok for you.

i was gonna say, micron D9 really doesn't mean a whole lot.. there's even mobile sdram in FBGA package with 'D9xxx' on the IC :p:

The current embodiment isn't bad but the possiblities behind it have a DRM nature.. which I completely Freaking hate.. SO I don't like it at all and I want it to freaking DIE :slash:

I read some online... but reading too much on the computer screen strains my eyes. They're quite sensitive unfortunatley... :( Anyway... will read the interview now. Again very nice of you to implement print functionality! :)
Fugger nice to hear, should we expect a review? Besides the IC's being good, do you reckon this EPP functionality is of any additional benefit to us?

I have not played with the EPP to know enough to say it helps me.
