Hmm is that CH-utt or BH5-utt?

Those are def good sticks, but calling them the best is pushing it. The only way they can be the best is if they can run Rosetta for more than 3 days straight without error (at those clocks).

They are goodly sticks trust me :) , i think they are bh5-utt. Are you using Ultra-d or Expert or Venus?. If you are using Ultra-d 3.7v is more like real 3.78vdimm.
What cooling and temp around the sticks?
Higher Trc give maybe some more mhz,but slow times, 32 Byte : Enabled can give you some mhz to.

UTT BH5 should be able to do Trfc 12 i think, me CH5 VX wont. Great results for rather low vdimm :toast:
Not seen any VX running faster then yours. Me old PC3200 (0450) wil do 275 sandra bandwidth, 273 1M and 271 32M but i need 3.7v for that.

They are very good I'll give you that but OPB's DDR 600 2-2-2-0-T1 kind of beats yours by a little bit...
OPB was using BH-5 i think?
VX is CH-5 UTT. Metro try trfc 12, then you will see.
Spreaders off?

Do you have any screen on OPBs 2x512mb DDR600 2-2-2 ?, i have realy not seen any over 298mhz 2-2-2 yet(2x512)

I'll try trfc at 12.
spreaders are on
gotta finish some college work then i'll start benching again, tomorrow i will get dry ice to bench super pi.
how much do you think 30 more mhz in ram could lower sp1m? (similar latencies) because i already got 23.9XX seconds on sp1m
loc.o

Depends, 30 mhz over what? If you are using the opteron 280x12 wil be slower then the 23.9 you have at 3.5 with 250mhz on mem. Divider 13 would be nice...Not sure how much +30 could gain you same clocks cpu though.

i benched at 35XX 250 2225 (i was wrong it was 250 2225) now i wanna bench at same cpu speed or maybe a bit more but 270 2225

Hi metro!
Great mems there.
I think that you can enter in 23.4x~23.6x zone.
For example, here my SPi 1M Opty 146 3.5GHz@233MHz 2-2-2-5 (div 133)i can hit very easy 24s, without any special Spi tweak

I had a set of vx4000 @ 275 24/7 @ 3.4v + .5v
I did 2 weeks (24/7) of memtest burnin @ 3.5v. They died after a night of memtest 3.6v +.5 280fsb...fan wasn't plugged :(
You got a nice set...try burning in

K i see one big problem here..VX4000 is ch = dies easy with to much vdimm like Muskin Redlines pc4000. ch clocks higher than bh5 with same vdimm. But bh5 cant be killd, but ch can die.
I think over 3.5v is very dangerous for ch5

this is true, idk if i would go over 3.3v for CH5 for 24/7

Some of those ch UTT based sticks have died and come back to life after a few days. Take them out and give them a few days off.
If it does appear to be dead, consider flashing the SPD with Thiaphoon Burner. It seems to have brought back a few sticks back from the dead. Nothing to loose by trying it. There are posts in that thread describing how to do it with "dead" sticks.

Bh can take 4.0v+ easy without die... Vx was ch = <-3.5v or the will die easy.

Is this due to the smaller process used in the CH based dies?

new UTT BH can take 4v+ or it's only old school BH5 ?
loc.o

Not all sticks actually like that much but I gave both me old and UTT up to 3.8v without any probs so far, for benching that is obviously.
I used me VX for about 8 months with 3.5v daily. After that coldboot began. Mem runs/clocks same as before only booting is prob now. Tried typhoon to burn new spd but didnt help.

I have realy tried to kill bh5- utt with high vdimm but they would not die...to much only make that windows dont boot. But its work fine again when the vdimm is going down to 3.7v again. Some bh give no improvement without gooder cooling over 3.7v->
Bh5 + bh - utt can take 4.0v without die.

You'll find that @ higher cpu clocks, you'll have to push the Vmem a bit higher even @ the same memory speeds ;) Here's my Team PC4000 UTT Bh5's.....

This was done @ 3.53Vmem (I have a screenshot of a run @ 275 showing vmem, but for got to open SG on this one  ) Don't mind the time...I iknow it sux.....I was just messing around :p:

Keep your eyes open for some "new" rev. UTT stix coming from TEAM very soon. Supposedly, they're even better than my set.....:slobber:
