Get one 1024MB stick of Samsung UCCC. It will go to 250-270Mhz with timings like 2.5-3-3-5 and voltage about 2.7-2.85V
When you want to upgrade - you won`t need to lose money from selling 2x512 - just add another 1024MB of UCCC :D

for 165 or 170$, get the G.Skill HZ @ newegg, those clock like mad, I am running 3-3-2-8-1T up to 275MHz
oh, I meant the 2x1GB kit!

Venice3000+ is S754/939 ???
2x512 - useless ... when in future you`ll upgrade to 4x512 - A64 Mem. Controller just can`t handle 4 sticks - you must set 2T -> that means - performance loss, problems with OC ...

P.S. want some DDR bargain - go to ForSale section @ XS

3-3-2-8? those are infineon timings, like g.skill ZX and HX. UCCC does 2.5/3-4-3-8...
I recommend gskill HZ aswel.
and davis5,
looking at your system... why do you want to spend money on something that wont give you that much of a performance boost than when changing CPU, or in your case, graphics card?
