I am already trying to order a Zippy (really hard in Europe), but if that fails I might go for this one, don't like the modular part thought.

Looks to be manufactured by ToPower, like the OCZ power supplies, but i could be wrong.

OCZ claims their PSU are now made by FSP...

OCZ will offer FSP, Topower now goes through Mushkin.

All of them have 4-rail designs at the high end, dangit. I guess I'll mod my Zippy to shut up :(

Specs are very good, but I do NOT like quad 12v rails :(

I ordered one and will take a few pictures and post a little review. We'll see how it does but I'm sure it'll work out great.

I wonder how that Rail Fusion thing really works but it sounds just like a gimmick and like every other power supply. Sounds like each rail is just connected in parallel to create one rail. Oh the 1 rail vs multiple rail debate will go on..

This psu is over rated. Charlie if you want a nice psu go for the 700w Zippy single 45A 12v rail

So Adam, you have tested the unit then?

NN-
In another thread you mentioned you picked up the Mushkin. Any observations yet? Noisy?

Very stable, GOOD line regulation, Modular cables are nice but I would have prefered that the PCIe lines where hard wired. Not liking the fact that I void the warrenty by adjusting the rails but it is a good PSU

Finally a PSU with high amps on the 12v rails

Noisy?
Just got mine today. It is as quiet or quieter then my last PSU (TT SilentPurepower 480w).:woot:

I ran S&M right away to test it out, and the lines don't move at all going from idle to load. On my last PSU, I would hear the fans slow down and see the 12v rail take a huge dip.

I like my purchase so far.:)

Just got mine today too.... darn near gave me a hernia picking up the box, lol...

Took a quick look and the build quality appears to be TOPNOTCH. Will fire it up later :D

We'll see how the RAILFUSION works... maybe I'll try running 2x x1900XTX's off of ONE PCIE plug with an adapter. Nice unit... good manual in ENGLISH, lol... good packaging. Very clean, fully wrapped and tied wires :D , modular design. Black chrome... with MUSHKIN logo stamped in side (VERY SLICK) I'll snap some pic's later.

Mmmmm... 5 lbs, 7 ounces... and remember it's modular so there aren't many wires weighing it down. It's a BRICK :D
Haven't had a chance to fire it up yet, though... soon!

Not sure yet if I'll need it... but it has ADJ. POTS inside.

FSP isnt that forton if.. than there very stable. I have 350W dual rail 12V. And the amps are lke 18a for eah rail on 12V

another great product by mushkin :D ...but i'd like to see if there is any voltage drop when , exceeding 20A through one line , "railfusion" becomes active....i haven't seen yet how this unit can handle heavily oc'ed crossfire setups... if it won't cost too much in europe...it 'll be my next psu.. i really need a modular psu in my messy case :stick:

Another good review.

I recieved my Mushkin 650W the other day, installed it today and there is a slight audible whine to it. I'm going to contact Mushkin and see what they can do for me, but it's very nice, extremely nice actually. I really love the quality of the cables and the entire package. Well done Mushkin.

I have had the 650 for about 2 weeks now, and all I can tell you guys, is the things is just solid. the 3 and 5 volt rails don't droop at all, and the 12 V very very rarely droops more then .06 volts in my case... maybe once every few hours.

I have voltage logs that are about 3 megs each now, about a mile long, and I can barely ever find any variation in voltages.

this PSU is definatly solid.
