Hey all, I have an X2 4200+ system with 1gig of rev.2 and a 7800GT. it keeps freezing on me in counter-strike. It ranges from about 10 minutes in to about 20 minutes in but it always does it. the whole game freezes and I have to restart my computer. Anyone know what I could do to fix this? I tried a different kit of memory and it didnt help. Anyone know why it might be doing this?

I dont think HL2 supports dual core.
Each core = 50%
So only way to get 100% performance from your cpu is to have a game that supports dual core.

I never had any problem, I only installed SP2 and my applications see 2 cores. Though steam really wouldn't go to 50% CPU in general, it also doesn't support dual cores like said.
