This is an initial sample of the production batch I got a week or so ago. I figured you guys might want to see what the future of DDR2 would look like after Micron BT's EOL status.

When you see the results I want you all to keep in mind that this is *not* Elpida
nor is it Micron BT-3 plus it is 2GB. This RAM can run both DDR2-860 (give or take) (4-4-4) and DDR2-800 (4-3-4) at 1.9v

I havent tried 2ns timing But I do not see that out of the question for under/at 667.

The best mix I have found so far has been 4-3-4 DDR2 ~910 @ 2.2v

Looks pretty good....definitely not BT-3, but still quality stuff for a 2GB set for sure. Any word on pricing?

Tras is sky high, are these IC's overclocks tras dependant? ;)

EDIT: FCG....those the same sticks? If so, then wow!

I can get mine to do DDR-900 @ 4-3-3-X (2.1v) without any problems....still testing.

Sounds about right, the P5WD2 tends to undervolt so my 2.2 is your 2.1 ;) and yes this is the same ram

Hmm... This is a good kit to compare to my G.Skill PC2 6400 :)

just to nitpick, you do mean 2clk, right? ;)
2ns would be 1clk at 500mhz, so..

also, two things:
1. BT may be gone for now, but we have B6 to replace it :D
2. what's the approx retail on those guys? i presume it hasn't quite made it through the distribution channel yet? (tired/lazy, don't feel like looking :p:)

Tras - 18 is really big man ! Other than that, that's some nice rams you have there !

Anyone has any idea on the ICs used ?

Probably a new Micron revision.

I asked them but they completely avoided the question. I assume they are the Micron D9***.. they have some great stock timings.

See first post, these are not BT-3. As to the chip I am not sure if I am allowed to say but I will ask.

Yes they do but the 65nm good DDR2-900 will not be availalbe until the end of the summer ~October

so the Mushkin PC2-6400 2x1GB not "Elpida" chip! 100% sure?
I better get Mushkin PC2-5300 2x1GB Elpida right? or SuperTalent PC2-6400

Anandtech did a review of this memory, and they said that it was a new micron chip.

Hmm, this RAM seemed to fly by. Is Mushkin working on getting some better sticks out there that'll compete with Corsair...namely the 6400C3 and 8500?

got to test three of these kits the past two days
and although they pass Memtest loops of tests #5 & #8
@ 950-980 4-3-4-4 (2.3v)
and also boot windows and can run spi 1m with no probs...

they fail to pass SnM memory test even @ 930mhz 4-4-4-10 2.4v....
(more like e memory torture as i can understand)

after reading some ddr2 performance charts (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/memory/display/ddr2-oc1ghz_9.html) over at x-bit labs,
i've decided to go with rather loose timmings and high frequencies...
as it seems to boost performance in almost every bench

so i'm gonna try them soon with some 5-ish gay timmings to see if they can break the psychological barrier of 1ghz on my P5WDG2-WS

(so far they look great for ~300€ 2x1gb ddr2 kit)
