Game's in full screen

I would like to know how to get games to play in full screen i have a 2005 wide screen 20in dell and i can'nt play some of the games in full screen they are just in a small square and it is one:( heck of a pain to try and play like this if you can help please help.

you need to go into the advanced part of the display options and click the tab that shows your video card, in the options find the option "fixed aspect ratio scaling" or "adapter scaling" that should stretch the image

I can not find that my card is 6800 ultra agp ya its old but i do not see what you are telling me to look for
