Has anyone ever played Black & White 2 before ?

I tried the demo out and i love the game it was just really laggy, i have the reso on 1024x768, detials to medium and AA to 2x AF to 4x, and i was getting like 10fps in some parts :/

The game was also choppy even when it wasnt an fps issue, so if anyone has played the real game what do you think of it ? and that expansion battle of the gods

yeah i got it. In fact just picked it up again because circuit city is selling the expansion pack this week for $7.99!!!! yeah, it runs like ass. On this system, all at stock except for the proc running at 3.6 :rolleyes: thats about all this ram will do at the nice 2-3-2-6 timings without going too high for 24/7 use with VDimm (CPU is at stock VCore). Anyhow, hovers in the teens to 20s generally at 1280x1024, custom detail settings, like low bloom, low foliage or whatever, no AA/AF. Me thinks this card runs muuuch better on ATI hardware much like HL2 seems to. AT least HL2 is still very playable on nvidia, as who the hell can see the diff between 80 and 100 fps anyway.

I had a blast playing through this game both as good and as evil. It ran flawlessly for me at 1280x1024 with everything cranked up (opteron 146 @ 2.7, 2GB ram, 7800gt).
