Should I sell all this Hardware and go conroe in july or?

I am 50:50 stuck in the middle on deciding what I should do. I am sick of my computer I just RMA'd my memory, now I have to RMA my MB. I am seriously considering just selling all of my hardware on ebay, placing the $ in a savings account, the conroe and HW for it in July when the E6600 comes out.

Here is what it comes to, I will be selling:
-Dfi Ultra-d NF4 MB
-Cabye opteron 148
-Mushkin XP4000 2x1gb
-XP90 w delta fan
-aspire navigator-x case

now should I sell this hardware right away before it gets outdated and loses its value? then buy right at Launch of conroe?? an E6600/MB/ddr2, ect?:(

Or should I hold onto my machine until say October/Nov? Im trying to figure out if I wait about 2-3 months after conroe is out, MB's won't be too over priced and either will good DDR2. So bascially the question is sell PC now buy conroe at launch?? or sell PC about 2-3 months after launch when/if prices come down for neccesarry HW?:confused:

I am in the same boat as you. I want a conroe in the worse way but the important thing is, I have several computers so I can sell hardware and not be computerless while I wait. So, if you have another computer, you don't really have anything holding you back.

I have a laptop, but I cannot game on it. Also my friends are planning a big lanparty so those are a couple factors that are making me stuck on what I should do. I might just hold onto what i have for a few months after launch, mainly waiting for good MB's to come out at a decent price, maybe NF5 chipset or something.

You don't have another PC it's best to keep it.

Just be aware that ALL of the new AMD chips on am2, with the possible exception of the server chips, and ALL Intel chips stretching back to the P4 have had DRM inserted onboard. I won't be buying anything that contains that crap. Trusted computing indeed! Question is - trusted by whom?:slapass:

Wouldn't you be better off waiting till vista with dx10 arrives and then grabbing some new hardware.
