Im trying to overclock processor but everytime I try to change the FSB in Bios it never saves. There is no Bios gaurdian or lock enabled and I'm able to change every setting but this one. Im running an Intel P4 630 Prescott 800MHz processor with an MSI 945P Neo2-F Intel motherboard.

do you have something along the lines of "bios protect" on?

maybe the CMOS jumper is in the wrong position?

If there's no write protect, the battery is fine, and the jumpers are all correct, then the bios chip itself may be bad. Fortunately I think that can be replaced for not very much depending on the board.

Found out that the processor is not supported by the current version of bios yet, so now I just wait partiently...
