Alright, this will be my first good ATI card. I have a 9800pro but I havent used it really, I built it in another rig for my brother to use.

The card I'm looking at is the Gigabyte x1900xtx. Is gigabyte a good brand for the card? I've never used a gigabyte card before. The gigabyte is $470 on newegg for retail and the sapphire/powercolor is $490 but they're OEM. What would be better?

Which driver should I be using?

I currently have an evga 7800gt which runs about 35 C idle and 40-44 C load on my maze4, how hot will this card be in comparison? Is a x1900xtx a lot hotter than a 7800gt is? I've heard that the x1800's and x1900's are really hot.

I just seen on the dangerden site that theres only one maze4 mounting kit, and I have everything pictured. Does the 7800gt mount the same as the x1900? If so I can just transfer the block a lot easier.

Thanks everyone!

It's a very good card and the price is just about right. Retail comes with practically the same parts as OEM but it's in a box with catchy colors and eye candy. I got my Sapphire X1900XT oem from Monarchcomputers.com for $508 total like awhile back. It comes with all the necessary cables and adaptors if you need them. Install the ATI Catalyst 6.4 CCC, but the cards runs hot, IDLE/LOAD 41C/80C unless you can run ATI TOOL or OVERCLOCKER.exe and adjust fan speeds in 2d/3d clocks then you're fine with the card idle/loading @ 38-40c/60c

Well I'll be watercooling it, and what I really need to know is if the mounts are the same as a 7800gt.

I'm not sure, you might want to do a search through Google or be patient until an experienced user steps in here. I wish you luck.

Can anyone answer the rest of the questions?
