Who here agrees that battlefield 2 needs 3-4 second spawn invulnerability. Everymap i play it seems people dont even try to get a flag anymore they just camp there with tanks or grenades or claymores or c4 and just kill you as you spawn.

Also who here agree's they need to change claymore's back to where they used to be like, meaning to where youre teammates can die from running over them. Iv never heard of a claymore that could tell good from bad...

I have a distinct fealing that no one plays for fun anymore. These stupid ranks they have in this game has gotten to people's heads and thats why people spawn camp for points.

Uhg i dunno, it just pisses me off when i play on karkand or something and people do nothing but hog armour and camp spawns with it.

If you are having trouble with people camping at spawn points just join a sqad and spawn at the leader. I do hate it when people camp on the armor and such but there is a way to get past everything and overall i still think its a fun game even though i play more at lans then online.

I say give up on the game.
I dont really know why people still play the Battlefield series?
There is always a inbalance, a bug, a exploit, or a engine flaw.

I have BF1942, and I hated the engine, but mods like Desert Combat convinced me to keep playing.
I also had BF Vietnam, and it had a horrible engine and was verry unbalanced. I sold it a few weeks afther I got it.
Now I have BF2, and Its still a cr@$%y engine and the gameplay and it still has the same problems as all the rest. Since they never released the SDK, I just got bored a few weeks afther the release and just went to play other games like CSS. Its been sitting in my closet catching dust for several months now.

IMO, Battlefield is a overhyped game. Yeah, its a nice idea for a game, but EA/Dice always fail to take advantage of it.
Instead of releasing a SDK so the modding community can expand the game, they keep releasing ripoff patches.

Instead of asking EA/Dice for a fix, simply ask for a nice SDK.
Im sure the modding community can do a lot better than EA/Dice regarding all these issues.

In my case, I wont go back to BF2 even if they release a SDK, because its just a bad engine. Im hoping for more with Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

i fully agree with Turok.

i bought Bf2 the day it came out and played it for 2 months straight.
at wich point i noticed that all the game did was annoy and irritate me.
Only fun bits were when i found a bunch of statpaders and killed em all with 2 nades.

i wasnt bad it to the contrary i was pretty good at it.
but like Turok said Bf is a great idea but with very poor finishing.
They make add-on after add-on without reparing the bugs in the original game cause cash is to important.

yeah there stil are alot of people playing bf2 but alot of them play it purely cause their stat whores and Bf2 allows them to show others how good they are. The stats thing is what created the cheating stattpaders wich is what annoyed alot of people.
Stats etc are a good idea but most people are simply to stupid to handle it in a fair way.

and to the TS yeah ur right BF2 could definetly use a 3 second invulnarability timer orso.
The guy i sold my copy to stil nags to me how often he gets killed at spawn.

Well i loved the bf1942 games, desert combat was ok but IMO forgotten hope was better.

I love BF2 i just got Euro forces and special forces, euro forces is kinda eh lacking, special forces is pretty cool besides the fact you cant use the unlocked 2nd set of weapons on it only on bf2 you can use emm ?? lol

If they changed claymores back to where they kill anyone who pass's by not just the oppisite team, and if they added a spawn invulnerability timer then the game would be alot better.

It would be cool to see some maps maybe 1-2 without armour and Jets. Iv had the game since it came out im only a Gunnery Sergent, it amazes me how people can make colonel, some people just truely have no lives.

CSS, and CS suck btw i hate it worst game ever IMO.

I bought it and loved it at first, but it gets boring so I'll end up playing it on and off... I usually play CS:S for like 3 months then like BF2 then back to CS:S then to FEAr...somehtjing like that. If it wasnt so damn clunky and buggy it might be better...still fun though with ranking and different classes.

Personally I think BF2 is still the best online FPS out there, although I haven't played in a few weeks.

There will ALWAYS be issues, exploits, inbalances, bugs, asshats and the like in multiplayer games. There will ALWAYS be people moaning about the above.

If I am playing and not having fun because my team is worthless and we only have one spawn point, I switch servers...

i agree the game is fun as hell. However all the problems really takes away from the game. If it werent for this game alone, id still be runnin 1 gig of ram. also, i got tired of all the bs too. I picked up CS again. (also oblivion) I finnaly found a war3 mod CS:S server!!! I crapped my pants. I loved that mod, and now its back yay.

If bf2 had CTF or some other game mode (BESIDES COOP) id play it more but its too boring now to play the same old ring-around-the-rosie capping points stuff. I play the special forces sometimes cause at least it added some new things but even its bit me with the bore factor.

I play alot of BF2:MC on x360, it is nothing like bf2 but it is fun in a different way (and has ctf :D)

Wake me up when theres a new game mode besides coop!

CS:S No real issues/inbalances/bugs/exploits. Of course you got cheaters/:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::b anana:s but thats not the games fault.

All of the major mods for BF2 should be out pretty soon and you guys will love BF2 again. :p:
