A comparo for various 3DMark benches 01/03/05/06 with Yonah/FX60 and Merom at a comon speed at your convenience would be great.

Merom should be a mobile Conroe so when Asus, Abit, DFI and so on releases their enthusiast motherboards for the Conroe the results should improve over this :)

Also - Merom is 166MHz FSB right? so Conroe will have a 60% higher front side bus by default. Since the multiplier is locked (unless ES) it should apply to all setups :D

Who knows on good MB it could overclock better then Conroe, well at least it will be easier to cool (emphasis mine) Bingo! Lower wattage, easier to cool (technically, less heat to remove). Do we have overclock wattage scaling numbers on these? (I need under 80W max when overvolted and overclocked :D ).

And may I assume that these Meroms are plug-and-play into the AOpen i975Xa-YDG (i.e., no bios upgrade needed?). :confused:

conroe and merom are the same thing.....one is desktop and other mobile......the results should be the same between the two or very very similar
