I liked the milestone thread in dimes so I thought maybe I could bring this idea here ;)

Another DX2.0@2.4 loaded with D²OL just left my house this evening... I donated it to a close girlfriend of mine who will be producing on a regular base starting tomorrow... :D
I have another friend who agreed to place a rig at her home and let it run 24/7, which means I can add another rig @ home to replace the one leaving (looking for another XP cpu for the moment)
And each time my sisters kids drop in they get to play games on my gaming-DX1.6@3.2 which is also loaded with D²OL, that will produce some points on irregular bases... I can't keep that one going 24/7, electric bill is killing me:(

Working on it... just found another socket A mobo I forgot about... so now I'm looking for 2 XP/Sempron cpu's I can put to work.

It's not a dual board... I have one socketA mobo lying around and just found a second one under a pile of parts... so I just need 2 cpu's and some cheap ram to build 2 extra rigs, everything else (HD, vidcard, PSU) is covered;)

Secondhand cpu's/ram would be great, if you can spot some throw me a PM, I can paypall you the money + shipping to Belgium, no prob.

Edit: boards both use DDR...

hehe I fire with everything I can at the moment. Heat --> 2 rigs down home, holiday --> 2-3 rigs down on work :(

I know what you're talking about, heat is the same prob overhere... and I also lost a rig @ work a few weeks ago. But I finally scored another cpu for a mobo I had lying around so things are looking better (let's hope it gets a bit cooler soon, my room feels like a sauna right now :( )

One of my harddisks in my server was glowing red yesterday evening and crashed ^^ almost burned my hands on this one, still no idea why it got that hot. well an additional fan and a position hanging around in the tower solved the problem at the moment :D summer sux, unless I will drive to my GF tomorrow...parents have house and pool :banana:

I think I'll be checking some of my offshore rigs tomorrow, some of them are not reporting anymore :slapass:

You know about the 4 week limit? If tasks of thoose rigs are older than 4 weeks they will not count in stats anymore. this is why I reduced my assignments individually for every rig. task server is very stable in the last months (a lot better than in former times). Think you have to reload task for thoose rigs.
hope all of them will be up soon again - you are an important part of our current output :D

I'm finally back with my rig on work and my X2 for the time I'm at home (phase not running while I'm away). Can't give much more at the moment but looking forward to Conroe in 2-3 months :rolleyes: Wonder how much they would do :slobber: 4-5 Conroe for D2OL regardless who of us are the lucky ones could give a good boost.

Right, Competitive streak in me is gonna win again... :eek:

Checked my nice meter, the Power fluctuations seemed to have Died down the last 2 weeks or so (about bloody time, 4 Months!!!), and although I have no UPS, the X2-4200 is going up this week, 24/7 (Can't leave this one on 24/7, too noisy (The GF & Delta's don't mix well!)).

XS_team_germany is a one man show as well currently (and some cands from my gf)...there is nobody else of the old troops left (they are WCG as far as I know)...if you are still interested in joining (we can do TOP5 place after merging that would be great, at the moment I have some days with a bit less output due to work and other things) I'll give ya a pm about it.
You will have to login with team_germany's account, then goto merge members, enter our password, then your name and password.
Merging members deletes a member and adds its nodes to the member currently logged in. If the deleted member is the owner of a team, then that team will be deleted as well.

I am running E6600 @ 3.4 and getting like 135/day (hard to tell right now as it hasn't run 24/7). ~ 115 in DBench @ 3.4. Of course, when I hook up phase to it, it should do better. :D

I have to say, I used to do SETI back in '99 (they just e-mailed me, after seven years of inactivity! LOL), and thought it a cool screensaver, but a rather quixotic, even silly pursuit (any "message" we get will probably be extinct alien dinosaurs farting from 100M years ago). Not to mention, distro does tend to cluttter up a PC's stability that you actually use (BOINC has borked me so many times it isn't even funny).

And frankly, when there are diseases to cure, what an absolute waste of CPU cycles! :rolleyes:

I have had an e6300 running two clients now for over a day. Everything seems fine, downloading test and uploading results. But I can't get to the stats page or my profile. I don't see a place to login. I want to make sure that my results are going to the right place. Can anyone alse get to the stats page or their profile?

EDIT: I found the member services page and was able to get to my profile, but I am unable to add the new nodes. Maybe it takes a while for them to be in the system. I would think that going on two days now they should be there. :confused:

EDIT #2: :am: I have been running the Community TSC agent. I switched over to d2ol tonight. At least the cycles didn't go to waste.
