upgraded from my x850xt pe with the wonderful AC Silencer 5 on it, i miss the coolness and there being no noise coming from it. I've heard mix reviews on the AC Accelrator thing, I was thinking bout getting one anyways or maybe a Zalman. Just wondering what other ppl have had good experiences with. I dont want to spend hundreds on liquid cooling or anything so try to keep it limited to air. FYI i have 2x120mm case fans so airflow is decent, although I still would rather have the hot air dumped directly out the back.

are they nice? I've been thinking about grabbing one of those. I heard theres problems with the RAM heatsinks making good contact on x1900 models. Did it drop temps good? I think I'm either getting one of those or the AC thing.

I would get the Accelero over the VF900. 90% of the users with the VF900 are unhappy with the results. Despite all the bashing of the Accelero it really does cool well and is literally dead silent. Take my sig for an example that I at least own what I recommend.

Get neither. What you are looking for is the KuFormula VF1 Plus VGA Cooler (http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/04/14/is_the_kuformula_vf1_plus_the_formula_for_graphics _cooling/page2.html).

I would use a 120mm axial fan instead of the included cross flow fan, but that's up to you.

looks promising.. if it weren't for the mounting bracket issue i'd order one of those and a 120mm today.. might still do it
