Ok, so I've decided to try and get an Ultra-D and compare it to my K8N Diamond Plus. The problem is the only RAM i have now is some OCZ Gold. Which apparently is engineered for the intel 875/865 chipset. (according to OCZ's site). so obviously to do these boards justice i'll have to get some RAM that works with them. i've narrowed it down to three choices.

OCZ4001024ELDCPER2-K
F1-3200BWU2-1GBGH

F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ

the 2GBHZ obviously has been a proven sucess, but i hear they have degraded in quality and OCability. And those BH-5 chips just look so sexy.

you want 1 or 2GB ?
Gskill HZ (or UCCC ic's) memory works very great on these boards.
But you're 'stuck' with 3-4-4-8 or 3-4-3-8 timings. Or 3-3-3-8 at lower speeds. For 2 GB, I would recommend memory with Infineon or Aeneon revC ic's

i'm not too concerned with the capacity. this is an overclocking machine anyway.

as long as the Ram Boots into windows.. it works..
A64 isn't picky about ram, as long as you know how to work with Dividors
