kind of old , yes i know ........ but i want to know what is the best BIOS for this mobo for OCing ?

i am having troubles ovr 250MHZ in 1:1 stable in memtest ... can you hwlp me ?

If it's a northwood, you have probably hit a wall. I haven't personally overclocked 478 sockets for almost a couple years now. My 2.4C hit a wall at 3.2Ghz, that doesn't mean yours can go just as high. My 3.2e D0 hit 4.0 and 4.2 for benches. 250FSB is a good mark to leave it at. I am not aware of really good Bioses for this board for OCing, but once again it's been a long time.

What Bios are you usig now? What is your vcore? What about temps? Is your Northbridge staying cool? How about an AGP mod(don't know if it helps but some say it does). How is vcore stability? what PSU?

You will not be able to overclock the actual CPU from a bios update, that is limited to it's sole phyical limitation.
However the best bios from your particular CPU would be version 1016, as this will provide you will maximum memory bandwidth.
