Hi,
has someone the Board running with an T2300 or an other Yonah?
I have some OC questions.
- max reached FSB
- max v-dimm
- max v-core (if possible)
Support Merom/Conroe?

Only 19x mhz .... that might be a little few. But It costs only the half of the AOpen i975Xa-YDG

yes, that's the situation :) (epox, ecs, giga - their mobo is not out now, so i think it would better choice like this asus)

I've just picked this board up with a T2400 and some :banana::banana::banana:ty PC2-5300 ram. I"m not sure if its a board limitation or ram but i can only get to 175mhz fsb.
I don't like the heatsink mounting mechanism, but got a Zalman ALcu vga cooler on and it works great. I'll put some pics up shortly.

is there a jumper on the board like the aopen board we may have to take off

They're using different chipsets, the one from Asus is made for 166 MHz, and the one from Aopen does 266 MHz. Yeah, they can both do more of course, but otherwise I don't think they have much in common.

I should have been more specific, stock its 166 and i can't get past 175, i'm pretty sure its my ram but from what i've been reading its not the best oc'ing board either, but these yonah boards are freaking hard to come by here in canada, so i jumped at the opportunity to get this one, i'll be getting the Aopen board soon I hope.
Heres a screenie of some initial benches, i'm using the integrated graphics
http://seocc.net/Images/tnt/All%20Benchs%201.9ghz.JPG
if you think it is your ram,
why dont you put a memory ratio on ie lock it to 533 ot 667 ?

The bios on this board is very limiting the only thing i can change is the fsb and the ram voltage I don't belive there is any ram dividers.

This board needs a bios bad,
can't even boot up with the ram I have. Its really sad.

Are you using bios 0402, it improves the overclocking a little, but this board is not designed to overclock anyway.

Could anybody of you please do my a favour and check, if it´s possible to downclock and downvolt the cpu, eg with rmclock or crystalcpu.

05-18-2006, 12:30 PM
well, but when i take the fan away, then i´m sure, that the heatsink can´t handle the temperature.
can you or someone else try if any other heatsink fits?

Well, I tried to make a Pin Mod to increase the Vcore from 1,25V to 1,3V. But insteed of 1,3V Asus Probe read 1,2V out:eek: . I don´t know what was going wrong, but I try to figuring out. Anyway its a kind of undervolting:D . I conected Vid 2 with Vid 1 so Vid 2 is grounded.

Downvolting with pinmod while CPU is running might be a little tricky...;)
