Very nice results.
I`m still debating myself on a D930 build. These results keep tempting me. :)

Very nice clocks, love it! :toast:

A 9xx looks very temping right now while I wait for Conroe, just wish there were boards about I could use in the mean time and then just pop a Conroe chip in when the time comes. :(

Very nice and makes me want to get out my watercooling all the more. You even have the same memory as I do but I cannot do 2.3vdimm only 2.2 on my board. So i doubt I could get past 950mhz which is as high as I took the ram so far.

I did vddr mod to use 2,5v on RAM, but anything over 2,3 volts doesn't help. For cheap memory these results are great. I paid 120$ for brand new 2x512Mb ;)

Right now I'm stuck only at 1,56 volts. Anything over 1,56 and my system resets and I can not find out what causes this. With my old 920 this problem was not present and I changed only the CPU. Ohhh if I could push 1,7 volts ...

At 1.56v 4800Mhz you are pushing 235watts. You need a heatsink with a CW value of .12 to just get near max heat ratings. Reseat the sink for better contact. Any fluctuation in the total C/W value will spike your temps at load way above spec.

I'm using watercooling and my temp never rises above 60C. For these benches the ambient was 15 degrees so the CPU temp should be even lower. The system can not pass the boot screen if I push the voltage with even 0,01 volt more so it's not the temp, because with my old CPU I was able to run benches @ 4650 @ 1,65 volts.

Very nice VIPER. Good work.

vcore and vdroop mods essential? Whats the max vcore on the board without the mod?

Thanks.

It's 1,7 volts. I took off the vcore mod, because i don't need it.
