View Full Version : In search of T2600 without "<255FSB" bug

Dumo

I thought cold bug is the only problem:) ....

Now with the other cpu my problem is a bit different:(
My retail T2600 stepping 8 won't go more than 255 FSB @ any Vcore or temp.
On the other hand, my Celeron M (yonah's with single core) boot up straight @ 255 FSB.

BTW, Aopen mobo is working fine after kyosen's tcore mod:toast:

Seems like T2600 ES without bug is getting really scarce, retail box T2600 cpu is unknown.
So, if you lucky enough to have one...Hold on to it:)

I will have 1 box and 2 ESs to test....Hope for the best:)

Dumo

I think with bios 1.5V core and stock hf this is the max, eventhough bios temp. @ 29C. I will test QKHK ES with same settings.

Thanks. I notice you have your RAM in the black slots. Do they work better for you? I found the blue slots perform about the same as the blacks in my board.

Seems like no difference, only more room especially for bulky armaflex. Its just a habit since yellow slots/utt (on SLI-DR/RDX200) days:)

Seems your memories are not in dual channel mode. DIMM1 & DIMM3 belong to channel 1, and DIMM2 & DIMM4 belong to channel 2 according to the manual.
