Hi,

I'm going to buy a Yonah T2400 CPU (don't have the budget for T2500).
I noticed that there are two versions: the T2400 and the T2400 ES.

What is the difference between the ES and the non-ES CPU ?

Thanks.

ES = engineering sample, usually first release of such processor type, no warranty etc

Of course... the T2400 has a multiplier locked at 10.

The T2400ES has an UNLOCKED multiplier with 10x-10x available.

Lol...
