I have managed nibitor to make a 3d 1,6 and 2d 1,3 volt biosmod for my XFX 7800GT, do anyone have any experience with 1,6 and not 1,5 v biosmods for 7800GT and what complications could appear if I flashed it?
Answer considering I have decent cooling please.
And how many degrees celcius does 0,1 volt increase give?
Appriciate kind replies.

Im not sure but I have the same card, if you have the black PCB one, and Id be very interested in seeing how well this works.
It seems not a lot of people around here have 7800GTs, all I mostly see is 7900 series, so I hope somebody drops by here.
If not, once I figure out how to properly flash a videocard BIOS, Id be willing to try it out, if thats the only thing that you had changed.

Black PCB, means that black thing on top with the green light right? Well it worked in a strange way. 1.4 to 1.5 works perfectly. 1.6 works somewhat very strange. 1.6 biosmod worked that way it allowed for higher clocking, but it started giving artifacts at the same clock as 1.5 denied more clocking and the strange thing is that atitool didn't notice them as artifacts eventhough I could clearly see them with my eyes. (With 1,5 I only succeed 497/1240 which is what I use now 1,6 allowed me to go to 535 but with artifacts.)

ive got one from eVGA and WOULD try a bios flash but i dont want the card to die out as i dont exactly want to shell out 300 more dollars for another card if this one dies on me..

Sure, here you have it ;) Remember to keep a default bios ready eventhough this bios did nothing bad to me.

I think you have made a mistake I've made before. I'm fairly sure that you just labled the voltage entry '1.6v', but the PCB is 90% certainly not able to provide more than 1.5v. What you did is just rename the 1.5v entry to 1.6v in the voltage table editor.
Sorry if I'm wrong.

Actualy I first saved it originally as AGP 6800GT then loaded it, selected 1.6 v and saved it as 7800GT again ;)
