First ATI X1900GT Benchmarks
As you may guess HKEPC once again is the first site to show some benchmarks between the mid-high range segment video cards, or the 7900GT GPUs from NVIDIA and ATIs Radeon X1900GT. The latest R580 modification is Radeon X1900GT previously known as X1900GTO. From the tests conducted by HKEPC, the X1900GT beats the 7900GT in 3D Mark 05 and 06 but loses out in 3D Mark 03. In Game Tests, the X1900GT leads in Half Life 2 and BattleField 2 but lags behind in FEAR, Doom 3, Splinter Cell and Serious Sam 2. It seems that the 7900GT is still the overall winner in terms of gaming.

Looking good. There's a lot of temptation present in the $300 range now :(

Hmmm if they do release it for $290 or so that would be a great buy. If you can flash them, it makes them that much better.

What are the specs of these internally? Same shader/rop/vertex count as the X1900XT's? I thought I remembered hearing they were just underclocked X1900XT's with lower ns ram and a smaller/weaker cooler. Am I correct?

Right, 36 pixel shaders, 575mhz core, 600mhz mem, 256Mb.

Worst part is it's 256Mb, you can't flash or unlock that :D

Maybe some brand release it with 512Mb
