the WR for what, highest screen? max 32m stable? ;)

i'm gonna guess ~320mhz has been done at 3-3-3

I was gonna say around 300MHz. Mainly because -5 G has never really been all that popular. The most popular -5B ic has without a doubt been the "C" revision found in the OCZ EB series of ram. Those were very popular, unfortunately overclocks were a lot more limited in those days due to immature clawhammer memory controllers and insufficient overclocking motherboards.

i figure i can't be close to holding a record with ram, so this can't be close to the WR :fact: :D

I'll give a shot at the WR when I get my DDR Booster :p:

I find that the booster heats -5B G to insane temps even if your running at 2.8v or whatever, much better to use bios...

they heat like hell, no matter what, I cant imagine OCed Ballistix without cooling
I think the WR should be around 315 3-3-3-x

I have had a fan over my Ballistix ever since the day I've had them. I run them @ 2.86v (DMM) and I plan to go to about 2.9v-3v 24/7, and maybe 3.1v for a quick bench/WR.

I also have some CH-6 to play with too (2x256MB) :p:

yeh i run mine up to 3v 24/7

I've been to 3.2v though for some benching/testing :)

anything under 2.9v through bios doesnt need a fan but it does help, >3v shoudl have a fan and ANYTHING with the booster should have a fan.

trust me, the booster heats them WAY hotter than the usually go at the volts... (the booster also turns into an inferno aswell, even at 2.8v)...
