Damn,what a pain in the ass dualcore,

Im running my x2 3800 Vcore 1.400 in bios 2700mhz one core fails in few seconds,other one runs over 12 hours prime,i need Vcore 1.550 to get both cores stable,is there a way to get both stable@1.400 2700mhz

(both cores run stable at stock Vcore 1.350@2500mhz)

I have the same problem, the two cores don't clock the same :fact: ,
just freeze it more, maybe it could help ..
BTW what stepping? mine is a LDBHE 0605 DPMW and 63° TCase - 1,5V 2600 both primestable, but more the second core doesnt keep up :stick: , watercooled ...

remove your ihs. It probably has uneven contact. the core that does better may be getting good contact, where the other is not so good.

Tried burning the chip in at all?

Been pretty lucky with this 3800 it seems, both cores tend to share instability, seem pretty well matched :D

Sounds very unlikely... If one core is significant better, the other one will not become just as fast as the other with removing the IHS. It's just bad luck I'm afraid. :slapass:
