I got this kit from SuperTalent for review, model #: X35PB2GC2 - 2x1GB - CL2

Specs:
433MHz DDR Over-Clocked Memory For Gaming Enthusiasts
2GB (1GB x 2) / (2x) 128M x 64 , non-Reg., no-ECC , CL 2-3-3-6 ,
Dual Channel Kit of 2 , 16/32pcs 2.7vdimm

I'm told they are Infineon Rev-C chips.

Just some initial testing, I was able to push them to 267 - DDR533 3-3-3-6 2.7v SP32M stable.

Not bad for a PC3500 kit.

It was suggested by my contact at SuperTalent to try vdimm up to 3.1-3.2. So I'm sure I might be able to tighten the timings up a little if that's the case. I just don't want to fry this stuff. If they are giving me the ok, then I don't mind trying though. :)

Please try Cas 2.5 and 2.0. These may bring very interesting results

That's quite a nice overclock! I'm interested in CAS2.5 results also, but that's one sweet OC for 433MHz modules. I am not sure what 3.1 or 3.2 will really do, because Rev. C seems to care less about voltage in my experience, but it's definitely worth a shot. Just make sure you have a fan keeping the modules cool.

Mike, that are some nice results. :up:

looking forward to see what can they do with CAS2 & 2.5... along with some 3D action. :)

BTW could you ask your contact at STT about ICs on X32PB2GC2?

I would be very interested to see 3D results and to see what the max is at CAS2 and CAS2.5 Where can we buy these in the UK (or EU that will ship to UK).

Cheers

How the progress, MadMikeSS ? :)

Can you show us some 3D action at 5-2-3-3.0-1T, please? Those SuperTaents look really nice, man! I'm suprised nobody else has not discovered them yet. They have announced them few months ago...

PC3200 CL2 2GB kit (X32PB2GC2) was announced a few months ago, this stuff (PC3500 CL2 2GB) is newer. i'd say less than a month...

and from what i've seen, PC3200 CL2 ones seem to be rev B, but i'm not 100% sure.

2×512MB kits (both PC3200 CL2 & PC3500 CL2) were both CE-5.

my rev c dimms get hot as hail @ 2.8 if your gona go into 3+ volts make sure you have some GOOD active cooling on them dimms..

maybe you can take some time to test all sorts of timings and see which one gives the best results =D.

any more results?

You might want to use a fan to blow on the rams and i assure that you can hit higher clocks =D.

my small report:

225 2-3-3-7 with vdimm 3.0v (didnt try more)
255 2.5-3-3-7 vdimm 3.0v
270 3-3-3-9 vdimm 3.0v

all spuper pi 32m stable and memtest stable

Vdimm in 2.6-2.8V range should be enough. are you sure 3.0V was necessary?

BTW was 270 3D stable?

you might give these timings a shot:

Tcl = 2/2.5/3
Trc = 7
Trfc = 14 (or lower)
Trcd = 3
Trrd = 2
Tras = 5
Trp = 2
Twr = 2
Twtr = 1
Trtw = 3 (or 2 at lower frequencies)

these are pretty much safe timings for Infineon based RAM.

Very good results for PC3500

I have Supertalent PC4000 X40PB2GC3 running at 270Mhz 3-4-3-x with 2.65v, but at 3-3-3-x can't post even at 250MHZ. I bought it only a week ago so still time for little improvements. I am a bit limited by my AsRock 939 Dual SATA2 and PSU with only 18A in the 12v (but rock solid volts).

Supertalent told me the chips are either infineon or samsung and they test them up to 2.8v
