Hello!

After 5 years Win2k, now i have XP Professional SP2 and my opinion is, XP is not as good as 2k, because after the install of XP i tried to get the lastest drivers like USB Root etc. but i can't get them (windows update complete)
My last USB Root driver is signed in 2001 and in Win2k 2003. I have installed the chipset drivers too (without usb, because it's a very bad driver).
So my XP is not so fast as in 2k and i don't understand it.
XP is younger and it should have the lastest drivers and not drivers from year 2001 (win2k update give me 2003).

Any suggestions to solve this problem?
I counld update the USB Root Driver with Win2k .sys

Why are you messing with the USB root driver? Did XP not have USB drivers for your motherboard?

Oh yes, XP USB Drivers are okay for my mobo but it's slow, slower than in Win2k and I hate this.
Another problem is:
I have 2 integrated SATA HDDS and if i send files from one hdd to the another hdd (an example 200 - 1000mb) so it costs about 3 minutes to finish the sending data and this is not normal! In Win2k, big files are finished under 30 seconds.

Try doing a google search for newer USB drivers
