New S12 "Energy+" series should provide >80% Eff. at 20%/50%/70% and 100% as well. ( 550W and 650W )
(S12 "Energy+" will be produced from May 2006)

I hope S12 650W "Energy+" won't have any problems with SLI-DR :rolleyes:

Yup, I've been waiting for these. Higher efficiency should enable the possibility of even quieter PSUs that still perform even better. Iirc there will be a 700W version of the M12, however the M12 series will probably be a little louder than the S12 series, or so I've heard. Very excited about this.

why use a 60mm fan though?wouldn't it be better to speed the 120mm fan up slighly from silent to very quiet, or at least to use a silent 80mm fan such as a low speed panaflo.

This unit seems to be "Energy+", but
HSinks don't look promising :(
