I don't know if anyone else is having this same problem or not but here goes...I have been playing the game fine for a few days now without any problems other than the crash when leaving the game that has been documented. Then all of a sudden today upon entering a new room everything goes black except for the UI. I can still get to the menus and see my health bars, I can also still move and everything, just can't see where I am going. Has anyone had this problem and/or know of a solution? I have tried to exit the game, reboot the comp etc. I did install the 84.25 drivers the other day but switched back to the older version that I had been running and still have the same problem.

I will try those once they finally download. DL rates of about 1.02KB/sec sucks! I hate being in the middle of the ocean sharing one connection with 5000+ people!

Hey! I had the exact same problem.. it went away after I underclocked the RAM to 1.29GHz. It was stable at 1.35GHz in everything else, didn't work still at stock 1.3GHz but 1.29GHz was fine.
Solved that by buying an ATI card

It turned out to be a problem with HDR. I turned it off and went back into the game where the problem was showing up and it hasn't done it since. Another person over at DFI-Street had the same problem and suggested that so I tried it.

It sounded like a HDR problem cause it didn't affect the 2D stuff, but was fullscreen (not just texture problems). The HDR realyl makes that game sexy though, and runs twice as fast as Bloom. You might run the version of DirectX that coems with the game again (The 12/27 redistro ver) and see if that corrects it if those drivers don't, since it's not a problem with the 84.25s.

It doesn't happen all the time so I just turn off HDR when it happens then turn it right back on. Yes it takes a couple of restarts to get it worked out but it is worth it how well HDR makes it look. I will have to try the DirectX release that you are suggesting and see if that helps.
