Hi,

Anyday now the parts of for my 1st build will be arriving:

Opty 170
Dfi nf4 sli dr
7900gtx
2gb gskill pc4000
antec neo 500w psu

But I am still unsure what hsf to go for as I of course will be o/cing the cpu...

Initally I was gonna get the zalman cs9500 led however I am now thinking to get the arctic pro 64 or arctic pro 7......

Of course I will try my best and would like to get the opty to 2.8ghz on air so which HSF would you think would help me more?

Alternatively if theres a better HSF please advise....

Thanks in advance

Cheers!!!!

but is there really that much of a diff between the zalman 9500, the big typhoon and the arctic pro 64???

I have read several reviews and cant see any major differences, there is a few slight diff here and there....

Therefore I thought I'd check with the experts....

Any more advice would be appreciated....

zalman 9500 is better than freezer 64...there are 5°C of difference...from 9500 to tt big typhoon there are 3°C of difference... I think you should buy the cheapest...in that case the freezer 64 pro could be better option ;)

as I have a arctic 64 atm I may just go for the zalman as you say there is 5 deg diff and then I will swap them around and see whats better for me ;)
