I've tried taking them off ram before and I've never been successful. In addition to the clips used I'm pretty sure the thermal interface material they use has a bit of adhesion to it.
Best results come from heating the heatspreads up as high as you think is safe, and the rest is finesse

Because my mem. are getting 60+°C @ 2,85V...

put a 120mm fan on top of them then.
all it takes is a little airflow and they'll stay cool(er)

There already is a 8X8 (linked to case top)... but it is a bit far...

You can't get off them afaik, and my ram gets damn hot too.

Just point the direction of airflow over the Ram. use what ever you like to position it.. Duct tape FTW

What are you using to get the temperature of the ram and at what point on your ram are you testing? My TCCD never gets above 45C

The thermal pad that is over the heatspread.
