I did a test and it said there is a error with my ram. Not sure what to do. I have ocz mem, 2 gig platinum. the case latency is set on auto in the bios. I beleive it's 2-3.5-5-2. What could be the problem. I did a memtest a while back ago for 7 hrs and everything seem fine.

do a memtest @stock, and if there is any errors with both sticks in, try one at a time.
If there is still erors, then you can RMA the sticks.
If they CAN run single sticks, without errors, then try give the RAM and/or NB some more juice, and try again. If thats not the solution, return and we'll look at it.

I did ran memtest86+. Not the one that my bios provide for 12 hrs and no errors. The test that I ran that said I had an error was from my norton system premiere that provides tests.

This is the test that it performs:
Click on Start button to start Memory Test. Test includes:

Data Pattern Test: reads and writes memory with various data patterns.

Walking Ones Test: verifies memory using walking ones algorithm.

Moving Inversion Test: verifies memory using moving inversion algorithm

Walking Zeros Test: verifies memory using walking zeros algorithm

Random Memory Block Copy Test: verifies memory by copying and comparing a block of data from a random source location to another random destination location.
