i never heard of "holographic storage", but after reading the info on the daewoo website the only thing i can say is: wow.
this technology sounds very promising - even if i didn't get how it works lol.

that is badass. wavelegnth of ht laser counts? are htey alreayd using blue lasers? this has the potential to become 100 terabyte storage

I don't quite get what you mean there. Its perfectly good english. The company, Daewoo (not daewood as you put it), has developed a working holographic storage device.

I can't wait for this stuff to become widespread, although I'd like to see some use out of HD-DVD and Blu ray before they go out the window.
