I`m looking for something decent at cooling and low-noise at same time. I can get Arctic Cooler Silencer rev.6 which is compatible with 6600GT. Will it fit 7600GT as well ? Any other good alternatives - stock cooler is driving me crazy :horse:

Hmm. Zalman costs more. Is there any comparetive review between those two ?

The reviews go both ways. You can find ones that show the AC winning and others w/ the Zalman winning.
When the differences are inconclusive like that, I'd go w/ the cheaper one.
Personally I think the AC has the advantage with its direct heat exhaust system-

Not to mention the fact that the NV Silencer exhausts all heat out of the case, and has fan speed control.
If you care about noise, DO NOT get the vf700. It plugs into a molex connector instead of the vga board, hence the only way to adjust the fan speed is to open up the case and switch from 12v to 5v by swapping molex adapters, or employ a third-party fan controller.
Simply put:
NV Silencer is quieter, cheaper and performs better. What more could you ask for?

Actually, The performance of NV5 and VF700Cu is similar.
different are NV5 is more quiet,Cheaper than VF700Cu USD$7 and bring the hot air out of the case.

Seems to do rather well:

keeps a x1800xl rather cool and is rather quiet at full speed

that review is from the rev. 3, which has no official support for the 7600.is the pcb for 7600 the same as for 6800/7800?

I guess PCB for 7600 is same as 6600.
Sabrewolf that`s pretty nice looking thing - and it has heatpipes. But unfortunatly it`s not available here :( crappy local suppliers.
But 33dB on just 6V - this ain`t quiet
