He must have around 2.5K wrapped up in chips & board alone. I'm sure he'll remove the top PCMark score while he's at it if not already. The top PCMark guy is running a similar setup but I'm sure Jason will scream past that guy. The Tyan server boards really lag on memory sub-system tests compared to LL setup's but with all that CPU power it won't matter.

Where is he posting, I'd like to see the mods and setup ;)

Multi CPU's on mobo usually useless for gaming rigs / bench rigs... But ofcause, if you hunt single VGA or some other special thing, its top of the dome...

Jason takes whatever he has and gets the best out of it......He can do things with hardware that probably only 10 other people on earth can do as well. My car cost less than my hardware which is more a sad reflection on my car than my computer stuff. My 15 year old Renault Clio cost £700 and is a complete heap of junk :D

There is a valid point somewhere and that is overclocking continues to get more and more expensive with multi this and multi that plus a nuclear power station of a psu.

Best to buy a low end card or two, a couple of VR's and a soldering gun and still have fun ..but I would say that wouldn't I ? :)
