So how much larger before Terabyte storage?
Becuase I would like to cut my Raid array down to 5 drives...
edit: and is anyone else surprised about the IDE 750GB drives?

Yeah, 750 GB is a lot. But going from 160 to 187.5 GB per platter by adding perpendicular recording is not really impressive! 17 % more? Come on, even the 100 to 120 GB move was bigger (yeah, that's 20 % folks:p: )

raid 6 has been around for at least a year.

to those that know, is there a way i can make a striped array with two 300gb drives and use one of these as a mirror for the other two drives? is that a form of raid? thanks.
