Hi

I've got a X1900XT and when I enter windows, these red/black lines appear on my monitor. They dissapear in a split second. When I change the HZ on my monitor they appear again, but only for a second. Likewise when I enter CCC.

Is this normal, or does anyone have a x1900 where it doesn't?

Greetings Fup

This sounds like the well documented issue with Cat6.4. Nothing to be worried about except for the annoyance factor. :slap:

Yeah, except that i am using 6.3 :( Furthermore i've tried the driver on the enclosed cd, and it's the same result.

These have always appeared. He isn't talking about a garbled image appearing during load. He is talking about when loading up or changing the settings in CCC the screen flickers for a millisecond and those lines appear to be red and black.

This is perfectly normal. Changes are being made to the video card and it has to disconnect, set it, then reconnect and it happens really fast. Thats why you see that. If it was to happen slower you wouldn't see those lines, but it would be slower.

Thanks for the replies.

How come this is the only video card of mine, that does this? I've got another 2 examples, 9700 and 9800 and they don't flicker. In fact this is the first time i've ever seen this.
When I change the resolution, the lines appear two seconds later and then dissapear again.
