R520 = 7100h,7103h-710Fh,7249h
Hardware monitoring for your X1900 will now work.

Funny thing, I don't think too many people know about this at all. But yes, it works
This is a better monitor then ATI Tool or the rest as it can show a progression of how hot your xt/xtx gets as well tell you the voltage. Something I sorely missed when testing for better clocks.
Thanks to ManicOne over at {H} for the info...

Looking into that now. Awaiting a response...
To do it edit RivaTuner.cfg and add 7800GS's PCI Device ID (F5h) to NV47 line of [GPU_10DE] section.
I am not sure if this will work with the 7900 I am quoting from a user name "the Brother"
Hi,
you still can use Rivatuner in Hardware Emulation Mode.
To do so, you have to go to the Power User Tab
to "\System" and change the
"ForceVGADeviceID" Value to 92
(It's the DeviceID from the 7800GTX-512)
I know It's not even a true workarround, but in hardware emulation mode I at least can Monitor my Temps
Greets Brother
Look like you need a new version of rivatuner for 7900

Interesting position from Unwinder (originator of Rivatuner)...I got respect for him
I have special edition of RT for mine and my friend's personal usage, which incorporates small module allowing to easily force tripple buffering in D3D7/D3D8/D3D9 on any hardware (both ATI and NVIDIA).
However, I don't (and will not) publicly distribute it due to moral reasons. Demirug's DXTWEAKER is an original and innovative tool, which brougt an original hardware and driver independent D3D tripple buffering forcing concept. It is _his_ idea, and I don't want to stole his users and lower his download rates. Furthermore, this idea was already silently stolen by Ray Adams and put in ATITrayTools cloneware, which resulted that many ATI users simply stopped using DXTWEAKER. I definitively don't want to go this way, and spread the same mine for Demirug and make NV users to forget about nice DXTWEAKER. So untill this tool is alive and supported, I won't release RT including the module built upon his concepts.
He also indicates a release around may (http://forums.guru3d.com//showpost.php?p=1662615&postcount=11)

Are you able to at least monitor temps with that fix using 7900?

I don't have crossfire so you will be the one to tell us, won't you?

It doesn't work nor do they have any intention of support it. Stick with ATI tool.
