OK, I have a eVGA 7800gtx and I want to flash it using heavyh20's rev 500 bios. Problem is I have no clue how to use NvFlash. I tried and everytime i open up nvflash and press a button a whole page with skip down. Then if i hold down a button if will quickly scroll through a whole bunch of pages and then the window will close. I did click on the other excecutable file in the zip file along with it. Nohing happened except a DOS window came up then went away. Can someone help me with this?
mods please close my thread in the xtreme mods section.

You have to make a bootable floppy, drop the winflash files on to the floppy, then reboot the pc with floppy still in drive and once it reboots type the following:
nvflash -5 -6 BIOSNAME.ROM
replace BIOSNAME with whatever the bios file you are flashing. Then follow the on screen instructions and you are golden.

must be in pure DOS
you need to create a boot disk and restart the system to get to a prompt. have the flash program and your rom on the disk also.
then use this:
"nvflash yourrom.rom"
if it returns no adapters found then use this to override:
"nvflash -4 -5 -6 yourrom.rom"

insert a blank floppy disk in your drive
open Explorer (not Internet Explorer)
right click on your floppy drive (A:) and select "Format..."
check the box that says "Create an MS-DOS startup disk"
once the format is complete copy your *.rom file to the disk
then copy "nvflash.exe" and "cwsdpmi.exe" to the disk
reboot with the disk in the drive. an "A:\>" prompt will come up
type "nvflash -4 -5 -6" romfile.rom [ENTER]
select "y" and the prompt to flash (note: select "y" each time if you have cards in SLI)
when done, remove the disk and reboot back into Windows XP
