6800 died?

I used a bios mod on my 6800 to give it 1.4v on the gpu. I was playing oblivion today and my computer just shut off. I tried to restart it but it turned on for less than a second and then off again. I took the power cable out of the 6800 and it turned on but the card started beeping indicating there was no power. Again I put the molex into the card same thing. I switched it out and im on a ATI card now.

Is there anyway to bring it back to life?

hmm take hsf off and look for burns on pcb... maybe you just overpowered something, but its more likely that the core is dead.

ya i figured it was dead. Well I sent it in for a replacement..hopefully ill get a new one that i WONT mess around with.

How long did you have it like this? What kind of cooling did you have?

EDIT/ just seen you are using an ati card now, makes what i said irrelavent :(
