Want to be able to play Oblivion on VERY Old Hardware?

seems this persons been working on some patch, that makes the game run in lower Pixel Shader settings and such...
the game doesn't normally offer this.
so now people with ti4200's, FX 5200's... Geforce 3's and such, can play this game alittle better.

its not perfect, but it is a solution for those people still holding onto old hardware.

On my GFs PC with a 5900U that made al lteh difference in the world.

before it was about 17-25fps @ 640*480 with all on minimum. Now it's 1024*768 , same framerate, with most settings on 3/4 of the way, except for grass and exterior shading, which are "Off" and "as low as it can go" respectivly.

The only visible drawback is that the signs in town are all illegible, at any range, with any settings. Kinda wierd. I can still tell what they are by walking to the door, and it is a fair trade IMHO.

What about being hardcore CPU limited? Right now I'm selling off all of my other hardware because computers are boring. All I have is a 1GHz coppermine with a R9800 untill someone releases a decent mobo for a modern Intel CPU.

computers are only boring when u are on them too much for ur own good. And have too many that u dont know wut to do with them lol
