WR 7600GT 3Dmark01

Been working at this all day...finally pulled far enough ahead of willis and cpt. planet....with opty at 2.4ghz and stock eVGA card clocks i pulled 25.6k in 01..these cards are pretty underrated....without LOD i got to 30.6k...LOD boosted me around 2500 points which is pretty amazing

nice score. no need to take up the top 3 spots though. ;-) i wouldn't expect that score to last long on the top though.

oh yea, how'd you get a lod bias with the latest drivers? i've somehow forgotten how to do it, and i was gonna try some benching today, but i couldn't figure it out... so i had to settle for breaking 10k in 3dmark2k3.

I've known these cards have been underrated and I've felt like swapping my 6800GT with zalman vf700-cu for a 7600GT and run stock cooler and clock as far as it goes and not lose any money for getting a card that performs a bit better. With mine 24/7 config I get ~29,150 in 01, cpu is such a lame overclocker tho won't go any higher than 2.7GHz no matter volt.

But I'm too lazy so I prolly stick to this 6800GT until next upgrade, hopefully a DX10 card.

yeah this card is better than the X850XT i had and is certainly better than the X1800GTO....this is the budget card to have for sure.

im going vgpu and vdd mods on monday...maybe that PCI-E slot mod that cpt. planet showed me...also will be benching cpu under phase at around 3450-3500mhz.

I know that Cpt Planet is working on a DICE container for the 7600GT, so he should be taking all the WR's back soonish. Watch this space though, as there are quite a few people gunning for these records... :D

with cpu power?30K was done at only 1662mhz on the mem and 609 on the core.
I can bench at 725/1890 without any probs.
My manchester can bench upto 3200mhz..
33K would be an wark in the park ;) but i don't care about 3dmark01,it's old and useless to me :)

Hi guy, what cooling did you used for mem at 1890 ?

My 76GT could only pass 640 on the core :( (but it got over 33k on 3D01 :D )

i tried 735core yesterday and 1900 mem but i just won't happen for now :/
729/1896 seems to be the ultimate max of this card :D

Now I tried 1850-1890 on the mem, maybe pass 1870 with Zalman VF700 :D
