ok as you can see there i can pick up two 7800gt overclocked editions from bfg. each of them perform just as good as a 7800gtx stock which i can even push further and it would be life a 7900gt. In these benches http://anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2717&p=7 it shows two 7900gts besting x1900xtx. So which is better getting two 7800gt oc and oc them further so its like having two 7800gtxes or a single xt and oc it to xtx and these cards will be placed on an abit an832x.

tbh id recommend going with the x1900xtx

i have an evga 7800GT but the x1900xtx is a beast and i just think it would probably suit u better as the 7800GT's are slowly becoming old even in SLi

the bfg 7800gtoc's do not perform like a 7800gtx stock. at least mine didn't.
and to reason with what to buy lets put it like this:

2x7800gt's overclocked matches a x1900xt at stock, that's ok, but for the same price you can get a x1900xt which, while matching a 78 sli setup, will still be able to overclock and pull way ahead. (btw these fly). when i had my 7800gtoc, in the short lfe it lived it barley scored better than one of my overclocked x850xt's. just some thought
