Hey every1, ive been reading threads on this forum for a few months now so i thought id sign up and join the fun!

1,9v ... but for 100% stability I bump it to 1,925 just to be sure :).
I can run Prime several days @ 2600mhz @ 1,75V.

jammy git, i think youv got a pretty special proc there, i've had two good amd's now, a 1700+ and an 1800+ and both of them would only do 2.4ghz at 1.75v, neither can get into windows at 2.6ghz but my voltage does top out at 1.81v so that doesnt help.

Guess I'll have to stick some decent memory on my 8rda and see if mine will get there...maybe, have not tried yet. Have not had the decent memory to try until now.

That's a nice chip u have there for sure, I have three 1800's and 1 1700 (all dlt3c's) and I know they'll all do 2.6 on air, two I've run at 2.7G on h20. But 2.7 on air is very good. I suggest you add water and stir....

Yeah .... I have searched for a good puppy almost 6 months and finally I got it, but I have paid double price :(. I think on Prommy it will pass 3G easily.

zippyc - I'm not using 200x13,5 ... 3D mark is not showing my real FSB (I don't know why) ... I'm using 216x12.5 to get that speed. You can see my memory in my sig .... @ 216 @ 12/2/2/2 @ 2,77V. I can bump this CPU up to 2750 with air and beyond but my PSU is not holding the load ... also my mobo is crap .... it turns on the OVP when I set bigger voltage for the procesor ... I can use till 1,925V ... Ohh I dream for good mobo and Prommy ... my CPU @ 2,2V :). Maybe I will make a water chiller after a month or two ... I'm very busy right now and I do not have enough time to play with my PC.

May I join? so far I got this score way back in June 03 but never posted. I got this score when I built my system back in June. All air no mods. Got a pretty crappy Zalman 5700cu for CPU HSF. Standard Reference design Radeon 9800Pro. Peen try using directx 8.1 and windows 2000, that'll boost your score a bit and get you closer to 23k

nah I use P4. Right now I dont want to use 8.1 cuz this is my gaming , and really , only comp so I use 9.0b. One of these days when I get more then 5 bucks ill get a benching machine. P4's like XP Pro better :toast:

You have the GPU power to do it, you just need more system power and you're there.

Yep lol, I do have a barton, a 2600+ its just in my other rig. It did 16,773 in this system with lower video card clocks.

I have a few new chips coming a mobile and an older 2500+ barton. ;)

These old chips are fun to play with every now and again.

My 22.2k on a year old machine air that bad? I remeber , it was like the first week I got it in June that I had the highest P4 2.4C 9800 Pro on air at that time. Im sure if i tried I could break 23k if I wanted too but waiting till I get bench rig and some good cooling. o wells:rolleyes:

Thanks Fugger, I'll look at the guides. I've been using black-vipers guide, but I'm sure they're are some other things to be done. Hopefully, with that and a little extra cooling I cam manage 26K

I used BlackVipers' services Super regisrty tweak (after previously running on winxp defaults) and it brought my score from a 14305 to an 11237.

And my boot takes a good 15 seconds longer now. Even after bringing windows back to default, my score didnt improve.

Oh well i was planning on reformatting anyways.

Sure enough, i reformatted and ran 3d mark max OC and got a 14,700 (new high for me)

I installed the gamers registry tweak, and i got a 14,650, and after the supertweak i got a 14,500.

Meh... ill just stick to the same ole way i used to, i just disable indexing, messaging, error reporting, auto update, and autp clock and im set.

Well i got a gig of KHX3000 (BH-5 2-2-2-11 up to 250, though i cant run that FSB with CPC or @ 2.4ghz)

I can hit 2.5 with 2 volts, and i cant break 18,500 in 3dmark

Heres the thing though, i have a 430w antec PSU and when i set my vcore to 1.8 i only get maybe 1.75 on it, it always seems to undervolts by .2-.35 volts, i dont know if its the mobo or the PSU...

It should be noted that I also have 2 74g raptors in raid, a 9800pro, a 7200 120gig and a dvd burner.

Im thinking about unhooking my 120/cd burner and seeing if i can get higher, or i might even drop in my old enermax 420, that thing ran high volts stable with the raptors in my old setup...

Sigh....

I have found a buyer for my 2600+M though, he's giving me $50 for it, so i think that might be the best course for me right now, then ill pick up a 2400M...

Put the black/red plugs of the DMM into one of your molex connectors, the black one to a black wire (ground) and the red one to, according to what ya wanna measure, either the red line (5V) or the yellow line (12V).

In case you wanna measure the 3.3V line, you'll have to unplug the atx plug, short the green line to a black one (to start psu without mobo) and then measure the orange line...

Try not to short something... ;)

make sure you put a load on the psu as well if you unconnect everything, hook it up to a fan or something otherwise you'll get readings which are for no-load which will be wrong

The futuremark thik that my celeron is a P4 so my rank is very low, but actully my score is at 2nd place if it had been placed corectly
My score is 4885 3DMARKS 01SE. This is pretty much for this old GPU ond CPU.

anyways, what is the 3.3 line for? I mean, like would my ram go faster with more or would i get more cpu clocks etc...?

I was thinking, couldnt you measure 3.3 through the orange lead on the AUX connector?

I was looking through my PSU manual and it is indeed a 3.3v line.

Which one is RAM? Because i cant get my ram past 230 at high speeds, when i had it over 260 at low speeds...(i know this is likely to be mobo/cpu, but still, id like to know which rail :) )

It's the 5V line, as well as for vdd... IMO even the cpu gets power from the 5V rail...

Im using a MachII R507 for my cpu and asetek waterchill for my NB and GPU :stick: I used Mushkin bh-6 @ 210mhz 11-2-2-2. Too bad my crappy (stock) nf7-s rev2 wont allow me to use a higher vdd than 1.7. Im pretty sure that this cpu can do 3,2ghz with some more vdd. And 2.9vdimm isn't enough to let my mem fly :rolleyes: I'm not using any volltmods whatsoever... I'm going to buy a dfi real soon i think :p:

i have a 9500pro, not a 9500 ;)
9500 does a lot better because they can be modded@9700, with 256 bit bus and extra pipes....instead 9500pro are 128 bit bus and fixed pipes :(

But other than that, there arent really any barriers towards ANYONE who has a comp joining the XtremeSystems 3d team as long as you have the tag but remember that OPP, Kingpin and such used THE SAME TAG for their 40+K marks so please give it a bit of respect i.e. see if you can get the highest marks for your setup on air or whatever like uclajd...holy crap he has a VP LS, so yeah like uclajd would see the higest marks with a 3.2e with an X800XTPE and see if you can come in the top 5 or 10 or, at the very least, your marks should show up on the front page of all the marks for your setup.

Thats just what I believe a membership entails especially in such a highly-competitive hardware/3dmark-oriented team.

one, in the mbot thread, but the person running that seems to have had some trouble in the past, and durring that time, alot of the people at the top stopped updating.

and there was another, run by one person, though that was just the highest XS member of each video card. he seems to have abandoned that as well, as not as many people as he wished (i suppose...) commented on it.

not saying it cant be done... but it just had to be kept up with, and people need to keep updating it regularly.

(Its an Opteron 144 @ 3Ghz, 24/7 air cooled :cool:, 7800 runs @ 475 x 1200, wich isnt real high, but its still on stock cooling :stick: )
