Q. would my 7900 oc well in a cross fire m/b
DFI LanParty UT CFX3200-DR RD580
i would only be running one card so sli would not matter and this m/b has 16x pci-x
or would nf4 m/b be best option

Why, if you known you ain't gona run Crossfire or SLI, why not? I just bought the best motherboard and VGA (for me) at the time...:)

The board may potentially be the best A64 939 socket board ever made, as such it would be a good place for ATI or NV video card, but wont do SLI.
So to get the max out of your ram/cpu it may be the best choice we will ever have (since AMD is switching to AM2 and this may be the LAST 939 superboard ever) to get the max out of the CPU/memory.
We await the real results, but I have 100% confidence in Oskar to produce the best tuned bios possible, and DFI's engineers have the rep for achieving the best results. We'll see.

so an nvidia gfx will not be held back when overclocking or runing 3D05 say
when using the ati chipset on this m/b

wow.. this looks like a kickass board.. me thinks crossfire would be fun to give a go also.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... :D
